All inclusive Barbados resorts offer an international range of cuisine to suit all tastes. Outside of the resorts, the local Bajan dishes are a mixture of African, Portuguese, Indian, Irish, Creole and British flavours with the national dish being flying fish and cou cou.

Enjoying a hot tropical climate with two distinct seasons, Barbados peak season corresponds with their dry season. Little rain falls during this period between February and April, though as a tropical island the odd storm can never be ruled out. The wet season begins in May/June and runs through until November/December, but temperatures generally vary very little with average highs sitting just below 30°C and average lows in the mid to low 20s.
